Edgar E. Clifton, 72, of Elkhart, died on Sunday, August 5, 2018.  He was born on March 11, 1946 to Edgar and Oleta (Schall) Clifton.  He graduated from Lapaz High School and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army.  Edgar was a member of the Moose Lodge and also ABATE.  After his family, his greatest joy was playing Santa Claus.  Edgar is survived by his children, Katie Clifton and Edgar Clifton both of Mishawaka, and Karen Clifton of Elkhart; his siblings, Roger Clifton, Barbara Bateman, and Mike Clifton.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Friends and family will be received on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, Indiana 46561.  A funeral service in Edgar's honor will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 10 AM at the funeral home with calling one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-851.
