Edgar L. Crocker, 88, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The Alabama native was born May 3, 1927 to Clint & Daisey Crocker. Edgar was a US Army veteran of WWII; he enjoyed the outdoors & nature, and time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed football, especially watching the Tennessee Titans and Notre Dame. Edgar was preceded in death by his wife, Dellie C. Crocker. He is survived by his children, Ellen Wild, Tony (Sandy) Crocker, Dorothy Crocker, Halbert (Chris) Crocker, Clarence Crocker, Dexter (Jennifer) Crocker, all of Elkhart and Roger (Kathy) Crocker of Nashville, TN; his brother, Archie Crocker of Manchester, TN as well as all of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services 2:00 Wednesday May 6, 2015 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
