Edith M. (DeVos) George, 87, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor. Edith was born in Cambria, Wyoming to Dominick and Amelia (Calibro) Febbo. Edith was an Inspector at Bendix Aviation in South Bend, where she retired on July 1, 1979 after 30 years of service. Edith was first married to Alphonse DeVos. She later married John George. Both preceded her in death. Edith is survived by her son, James (Theresa) DeVos of Angola and her daughter, Deb (Stephen) Roth of Syracuse and five grandchildren. Edith is also survived by John's children, Daniel (Susie) George; Linda (Jim) O'Konski, Donna (Al) Watchorn, Jo Ann (Ron) Gabbard and John's grandchildren. There are no services.
