Edna Belle Kimmey-White, age 85, of South Bend, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care. Edna was born July 22, 1926 to the late Norman and Bernice Montague in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Surviving are her sons, Norman White of Mishawaka, Dan White and Jim White, both of South Bend. Also surviving is her daughter in law Jeannette White, and 2 sisters, Geraldine (Dale) Cooper and Norma Jean (Wayne) Baney, all of South Bend. Surviving as well are her grandchildren; Rebecca Busskirt, Heather White, Mike Robakowski, Abigail White, David Young, Cassandra White, Nathan White and Krystal White, and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Legend, Aubrey, Robert Jr. Rhys, and Kaidence. Edna was preceded in death by her son, Ron White in 2006, 3 brothers, Donald, Robert, and Larry Montague, and a granddaughter, Heidi White.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012 at Chapel Hill, with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Edna was employed for many years at Ball Band in Mishawaka. She enjoyed the outdoors, watching birds, swinging on her front porch swing, and flowers. Edna loved to cook, and spend time with her grandchildren. In her younger years, she bowled in leagues at Regal Lanes in Mishawaka.
