Edna Mae (Letner) Ortiz 90, of Elkhart, IN passed away Friday April 23, 2021 in Elkhart.  She was born on May 4, 1930 to the late Zenith and Mildred (Beals) Letner in Matton, IL.  She married Ernest Ortiz on July 1, 1961.  Edna enjoyed her time with family and her flowers.  She was employed by Miles Laboratories for 42 years.

She is survived by her 2 sons Louis Ortiz and Joseph (Pete) Ortiz; her 3 daughters Sherry (Robert) Lichtenberger, Nancy Szobodi and Gloria (Russ) Monroy; her 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Michael Ortiz; her brother Carl Letner and her sister Hazel Letner.

Services for Edna will be held Thursday April 29, 2021 at 2PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola, IN 46561.  Friends may visit from 12PM until the time of service.  Burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memory Gardens.
