Eleanor J. Krejci, 93, formerly of Stone Park, IL, died Monday, April 19, 2010 at Miller''s Merry Manor, Syracuse, IN. Eleanor was born in Chicago on June 16, 1916 to Helmer and Elizabeth (Gartner) Peterson. She retired from the accounting department at Sears, Roebuck, & Company's Lifetime Foam Subsidiary. She is survived by her five children, Lurlie J. Burdick of Glendale Heights, IL, Joseph (Irene) Krejci, III (on extended travel, currently in Ukraine), Jayne (Robert) Zeman of Algonquin, IL, Jeanne (Edward) Siwek of Bartlett, IL and Susan (Keith) Obenchain of Leesburg, IN (Lake Tippecanoe); 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Pauline Lucarz of Bend, OR and her brother, Leonard Peterson of Reedsburg, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Krejci in 1971. Private family services, 10:30 am, Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in the Chapel at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 East Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens.
