Eleanor E. Holderman, age 83, formerly of Elkhart, passed away April 5, 2013 at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn, IN. Eleanor was born June 9, 1929. She married Gerald D. Holderman on Apr. 30, 1949.

Eleanor is survived by several nieces and nephews, and was preceded in death by her husband Gerald in October of 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Marvin & Dorothy Warstler, her siblings Richard Warstler, Roger Warstler, & Larry Forrest.

A graveside committal will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana. Please meet at Chapel Hill Funeral Home one half hour prior to services.

Eleanor was a homemaker, who enjoyed making crafts, cooking and baking, shopping, crocheting, and spending time with her family. In her memory, donations may be made to the Elkhart Humane Society, or the Humane Society of the donor''s choice.
