Eleanora M. Cahoon, 92, of Battle Creek Michigan and formerly of Elkhart, died Friday, February 7, 2014 in Battle Creek. She was born Jan. 13, 1922, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Roy and Eva (Lewis) Lyttle, who have preceded her in death. Eleanora served as a pilot in the U.S. Navy. She was employed by U.S. Register Co. in Battle Creek. After moving to Elkhart she was employed by Wells Fargo for more than 33 years. Eleanora enjoyed reading and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Cahoon, in 1977; son Jon Lyttle in 1994, sister Dorothy Whittaker and two previous husbands. Survivors include her son Terry (Sandy) Sargent of Battle Creek; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call 5-7pm Monday, February 10, 2014 in Royal Funeral Home, Battle Creek.
