Baby Elias Andrew Barnes, born on February 18, 2011, passed away in his parent''s arms at 11:25 pm, February 18, 2011 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.

Elias is the son of Corey and Jessica (Smith) Barnes and the brother of Ethan and Ella Barnes. He leaves behind maternal grandmother, Christine Smith of Granger and paternal grandparents, Lee (Judy) Barnes of Berrien Springs, MI. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles, Carrie (Kenny) Morton of Mishawaka, Amy (Tony) Ganser of Osceola, Allison Singleton of Granger, Monica (Craig) Kuha of Berrien Springs, MI, and Nathan Barnes of Berrien Springs, MI, and cousins, Tyler, Colson, Annabelle, Daniel, Adam, John, Alyssa, Natalie, Matthew, Seth, Hannah, and Grace. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dannie Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 21, 2011 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.

The family prefers memorial contributions to be made to Grace Church Children''s Ministry, 52025 Gumwood Road, Granger, IN 46530.
