Osceola - Ella Sue (Estep) Geer, 96, of Osceola, passed away on Thursday, September 26th, 2024, with her loving family beside her.

Ella was born on January 2, 1928, to the late Earl and Verdella (Andis) Estep in Roda, Virginia, (Wise County).

Ella Sue moved to Mishawaka in 1953. She met the love of her life, Richard P. Geer, and they were married at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka. She was a faithful, loving Christian.  She loved square dancing and quilting. She was a frequent purveyor of local crafts and bazaars. She enjoyed being a tailor, sewing, crafts including latch hook, and making rugs.

Ella is preceded in death by her two brothers, David Estep, William "Randy" Estep, two sisters, Johnnie Callahan, and Nancy Joel Wells.

Ella is survived by two sons, Daniel (Lynn) Geer of Mishawaka, Paul Geer of Osceola, grandchildren Kandice (Matt) Vickery of Marcellus, MI., Rachel Parker of Mishawaka, David (Jennifer) Schuck of Mishawaka, Casey  (Shannelle) Geer of Bloomington, IN, Robert Geer of Mishawaka, great grandchildren, Luna, Harley, Aiden, Austin, Bastian, Leona, Amari, Mercy, Dakota and Jessica, numerous nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Lari Ann Estep of Evansville, IN.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola IN.

The funeral service will be On Friday, October. 4th At 1:00 PM, with Dr. Daniel P. Geer Reverend Delbert Ritchie and Dr. Mark Lantz officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana.
