Elsie Marie Starke, 85, of Elkhart, passed away at 9:00 am, Saturday, January 21, 2012 in her home. Elsie was born on March 2, 1926 in Niles, MI. She married the late Rae T. Starke on March 3, 1951 in Niles. He passed away on November 27, 1991.
Elsie is survived by five children, Frederick Starke, Richard Starke, Terry Starke, Nancy Starke and Thomas (Jolene) Starke, all of Elkhart. She is also survived by three granddaughters, Brittany, Hillary, and Katelyn and one brother, Robert (Marlene) Reed of South Bend.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. She will be laid to rest next her husband in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola at a later date.
