Ermerdean Beatrice (Smith) Hardin, 93, of Mishawaka, IN passed away on June 20, 2021 in Southlake, TX surrounded by her family.  She was born to the late Robert and Lilly (Shirley) Smith on September 15, 1927 in Newport, AR.  She married Arthur Hardin on April 12, 1946.

She was employed by Miles Laboratory in Elkhart, IN for over 25 years.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Barbara (Larry) Alexander and Linda (Ray) Pekowski; a great nephew "son," Shane (Piper) Sexton, 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her 6 sisters and 3 brothers.

Services for Ermerdean will be held private.  Chapel Hill Funeral Home is honored to care for the Hardin family.
