Ethelene N. Tribble, age 77, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness. Ethelene was born October 19, 1932 in Bertrand, Michigan to the late Eli P. and Marie (Smith) Marshall. On March 28, 1969, Ethelene married Mr. Dean Tribble.
Dean survives, along with their children, Larry (Larissa) Ambrose of Elkhart, Michael Ambrose of Elkhart, Joe Tribble of Adamsville, Michigan, Pam (John) Gordon of Elkhart, Indiana and Teresa (Don) Johnson of Adamsville, Michigan. Ethelene is also survived by her brother Gale (Marlene) Marshall of Sturgis, Michigan and her sister Laura Neamen of Three Rivers, Michigan. She is survived as well by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-6 pm Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 1, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Ethelene was employed for many years by the Continental Can/Federal Paperboard Company, and then for eighteen years with ADEC in Elkhart both in the offices, and in the group homes. She was an avid BINGO player, and enjoyed going to the Casinos in both Michigan City and Las Vegas. She was a member of the Moose Lodge #599, of Elkhart.
In her memory, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Haiti Relief Fund.
