Eula M. Aleshire-Goff, age 86, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 at Riverside Village Nursing Home. Eula was born February 27, 1925 to Clarence and Dora (Fox) Smith in Luray, Virginia. Her parents preceded her in death. In the summer of 1945, she married Nathan Aleshire in Stanley, Virginia. He preceded her in death, passing away December 30, 1986. She later married Charles Goff in May of 1999. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2001.

Surviving are her children; Ray (Martha) Aleshire of Bean Station, TN, Edward (Kathy) Aleshire of Pinckneyville, IL, Nancy Hyndman of Elkhart, Lawana Taylor of Chester, VA, and Mildred (Marty) Looney of Mishawaka. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren. Eula was preceded in death by her sisters Catherine Fox and Lennis Jenkins, as well as her son in law, Carl Hyndman.

There will be no visitation, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Chapel Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Eula was employed as a cook for many years. She worked at Mr. G''s, Sidetrack, Rosie''s Diner, and the Cock-A-Doodle-Doo Caf in Mishawaka. She was also a seamstress, and loved to crochet. Eula loved to dance, and spend time with her puppy "Itsy" and her parrot, Be-Bop. She was also a member of the American Legion Post #308 of Osceola.

In her memory, donations may be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
