Evan J. Parrish, 81, of Mishawaka, died Tuesday August 24, 2010. He was born in Florence, Alabama on August 21, 1929 to Barney and Minnie (Jackson) Parrish. On August 26, 1949 he married Sue Joiner in Iuka, Mississippi. Evan retired as a Forklift Operator at Dodge Manufacturing after 40 years of service to the company. He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Sue Parrish of Mishawaka; his son, Jerry (Brenda) Parrish of Cassopolis, Michigan; his daughter, Elaine (Charles) Brevard of South Bend; sister, Lillie Mae Kelly of Florence, Alabama; brother, Walter Parrish of Jackson, Michigan; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral Services 11:00AM Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy, with calling one hour prior to services. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
