Evan P. Stone, 27, of South Bend, died Friday May 29, 2015. The Oaklawn IL native was born May 6, 1988 to Randall C. & Phyllis A. (Yates) Stone. Evan was a veteran, serving in Iraq with the Indiana National Guard. He received his Bachelor''s Degree from IUSB and was employed as a financial advisor with Ameriprise. An avid sports fan, he supported the Chicago teams, especially the Blackhawks, Bears and White Sox; gregarious, yet caring & kind, he cherished the time spent with family & friends and enjoyed his English Bulldogs, Tank & Lucy. Evan was preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents and is survived by his father, Randy (Beryl Billings) Stone of Elkhart; his mother, Phyllis Stone of Mishawaka; his sister, Ashley (Jake) Borens and his niece & nephew, Lily & Max Borens, all of Elkhart; step-brothers, Eric (Courtney) Freedline of Elkhart and Nicholas Freedline of Palm Springs CA, as well as several Aunts, Uncles and step-nieces & nephews.
