Felicia J. Fox (Sayer, Samuels)

Felicia J. Fox, (many friends and family called her Pete) age 88, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2025 after a courageous eight-year battle with Alzheimers disease. She resided in the Cottage at Trailpoint Village in South Bend, Indiana, where she received excellent loving care and support.

Born on September 3, 1936, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Felicia was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Throughout her life she was an active and vibrant individual. She had a passion for the water and swimming--she was a synchronized swimmer at Riley High school. Felicia passed on her love for the lake, sunshine, and beach to her family.

Even as Alzheimer's disease took its toll, Felicia continued to exhibit her fun and loving nature. She was always acting silly, cutting jokes, and teasing others until the very end. Her sense of humor was endless.

Felicia was preceded in death by her first husband, John (Nick) Sayer, and second husband, Chester E. Fox, son, John A. Sayer, daughter Merri Jo Jones, grandson Adam Jones and granddaughter Toni Marie Sayer. She is survived by her daughter, Lou Ann (Tony) Hazen, grandchildren; Stephanie (Andy) Katzelis, Nicky Sayer, Stacy (Steve) Madison, Starla (Eric) Bowman, Nicholas (DaLynn) Jones, Louis (Tabitha) Hazen and fifteen great-grandchildren who will all cherish the precious memories they shared with her.

A memorial service to celebrate Felicia's life will be held at a later date.
