Frances B. Hughes

ELKHART- Frances B. Hughes 82 passed away at her residence Monday morning in Elkhart. Frances enjoyed reading, her greatest love of all was spending time with her family; she was very giving person and liked to help people. A special thanks is to be given to Ruth and Charlotte for their great friendship. She also had a special love for her dog Cookie a toy poodle. Frances also worked at Elkhart General Hospital as a nurse''s aid. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Corina and her first husband Fred Cox and second husband Lloyd Hughes. She is survived by her son Paul (Jody) Cox, her daughter Sue (Tab) Stump, five grandchildren, six great grand children, and one great-great grandchild. A celebration of family and friends will take place from 12:00pm - 2:00pm on Thursday September 3rd followed by a service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home located at 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola IN. 46545 with Rev. Larry Sonnerburg officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family''s preferred memorial is to the American Cancer Society 130 Red Coach Dr, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
