Frank D. "Dave" Plummer, 69, of Cassopolis, died Friday January 20, 2017. The Elkhart native was born July 7, 1947 to Frank B. Plummer Jr. & Sara (Reynolds) Plummer. Dave was a US Army veteran and had retired as a millwright from CTS Corp. in Elkhart. An avid outdoorsman, his favorite pastimes included trap & skeet shooting, rafting, kayaking, caving and rock climbing. Dave had a deep concern for the welfare of animals and a history of rescuing & rehabilitating wildlife. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher Plummer and his sister, Kay James. Dave is survived by his wife Terry Stutz; his sister, Nora (Bradley) Webb of Elkhart and several nieces & nephews. There will be a memorial gathering of family & friends on Thursday January 26, 2017 from 4-8 pm in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy.
