Fred A. Gunnoe, 85, of Bristol, died Sunday October 12, 2014 at Elkhart General Hospital. The Ward WV native was born June 5, 1929 to Oliver & Anna (Kuhn) Gunnoe. On January 19, 1949 he married Nettie A. McNeely in Chelyan WV. Fred had retired from Stiles Manufacturing and was a devoted family man, enjoyed his grandchildren, a quiet home life and Notre Dame football. In addition to his parents, Fred was also preceded in death by his daughter, Gail Gunnoe; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Fred is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nettie A. Gunnoe; daughters, Ann (Jim) Gwinn of Elkhart, Pam (Harry) Owen of Rockville VA, Donna (Jeff) Brown of Angola; Gail''s partner & friend, Tressa Miller of Elkhart; sister, Loretta Street of Charleston WV, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
