Freda Ann Arbaugh, 70, of Elkhart, died Friday, July 28, 2017 at Hospice House in Elkhart. The Hughes Creek, West Virginia native was born July 22, 1947 to Thurman and Madeline (Hudnall) Rice, who have both preceded her in death. On September 4, 1965, Ann married Glenn Arbaugh, who survives. Ann enjoyed her adult coloring books, reading books, and taking care of her family. She treasured her husband, children, and grandchildren with an unfailing love. Ann is survived by her children, Bart (Melissa) Arbaugh and Tammy Thompson, both of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Westley (Sean) Raber of Warsaw, Justin Arbaugh, Kaylan Dercach, and Madison Arbaugh all of Elkhart; one great-granddaughter, Annie Raber of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Eddie Rice, David Rice, and Doc Rice. There will be a funeral service in Ann''s honor on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10 AM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561 with Larry Sonnenberg officiating. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
