Frederick T. Kelley, 95, of Mishawaka, passed away at 2:20 PM, Tuesday, August 4, 2009 in Regency Place of South Bend. Fred was born on June 26, 1914 in Prairie, Miss to the late Amosa and Susie (Ingram) Kelly. He is also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by two sons, Charley (Barbara) Kelley of South Bend and Douglas Kelley of Niles, MI; six grandchildren, Kitty, Doug, Jr., Terri, Sharon, Jim, and Mike. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Fred proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army and became honorably discharged in 1947. He worked for Uniroyal for many years before retirement in 1976. He was a 50+ member of the Adamsville, Alabama Masonic Lodge #927.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, August 7, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Entombment will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
