Garl Edward "Ed" Miller, 78, passed away peacefully in Hospice House of Elkhart, IN on Friday, December 4, 2015 after an extended illness. Ed was born October 7, 1937 to Emerson and Bessie (Wheeler) Miller. He was employed at Honeywell (formerly Bendix) for 35 years and retired in 2001. Ed was also a farmer and loved planting his garden and raising cows where he named each one. On May 19, 1995 he married Marilyn Bradley who survives. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Debra (Kevin) Norton, Michael (Carol) Bradley, and Lori (Tim) Birk along with 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. "Grandpa Ed" was a generous man to his family and will be dearly missed. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 2 PM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers his family requests contributions be made to The Center for Hospice of South Bend, Indiana.
