George H. Brown, 80, of South Bend, passed away at 4:50 am, Sunday, June 21, 2009 in Memorial Hospital. George was born on March 3, 1929 in Kansas City, MO. On December 15, 1956, he married Lucille Bramlett. She passed away on August 22, 1984. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Norman.
He is survived by five children, Bonnie Humphrey of Arkansas, Charles (Debbie) Palmer of NC, Georgia Brown on South Bend, Kim (Mike) Smiechowski of South Bend and Margaret (Terry) Gill of Kalamazoo, MI. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A time for gathering will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. A service will be held at a later date due to grandchildren serving in the military.
