Gerald "Jerry" J. Klotz, 74, of Mishawaka, passed away at 11:22 am, Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in his home. Jerry was born on January 17, 1939 in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Curtis and Lena M. (Williams) Klotz. On June 25, 1984 in Chicago, IL, he married Marcia R. Armold. She passed away on October 24, 2010.

Jerry was a member of the American Legion Post 308, Osceola and the Teamsters Union. His hobbies included NASCAR, Blue Grass, gardening and yard work. He also loved animals, especially his dog, Zoey.

He is survived by two children, Kyle (Marcie Cates) Holt of Granger and Jenny (Keith) Conway of Antioch, IL; four grandchildren, Colin, Riley, and Regan Conway and Bristol Holt and god daughter, Mary (Matt) Houser of Mishawaka. He is also survived by nine siblings, Edgar Klotz of Los Angeles, CA, Bob(Sherrie) Klotz of Edwardsburg, Mike (Deb) Klotz of Mishawaka, Richard Klotz of Edwardsburg, James (Pam) Klotz of Detroit, MI, Betty Zemialkowski of Osceola, Barbara (Bob) Kovach of Mishawaka, Kathy Harker of Phoenix, AZ and Donald Klotz of Osceola.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Friday, July 19, 2013 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 20, 2013 in the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Rev. Michael Cramer will officiate. Entombment of ashes will be at a later date.
