Geraldine "Geri" Holloway, age 66, of Elkhart, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Geri was born November 25, 1946 in Mishawaka, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Rosella Irons.
Surviving are her children, Lee (Brian) VanBuskirk of Cromwell, Indiana, Roberta "Bert" Holloway, Deb Holloway, Bobbie Jo (Ralph) Elswick, Robert "Bub" (Sherry Beeson) Holloway Jr. and Jackie Holloway, all of Elkhart. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Dylan, Ryan, Shane, Chera, Daniel, and Clinton, and her great grandchildren, Caiden, Riley, Payton, DaShaun, Landon and Justin. Geri is survived as well by her brother Tim (Sandra) Alwine and Alberta Smith, both of Elkhart. Preceding her in death were her siblings Donald Alwine and Sandy Kryski, and her grandson Brandon.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 2:00 pm funeral service on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Geri was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, hunting for mushrooms, and spending time with her grandkids.
