Glen L. Sharp , 88, of Osceola, went to be with his Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday December 5, 2018. Glen was born in Millersburg on April 11, 1930, the second of four children of (the late) Everett and Myrtle "Mae" (LeCount) Sharp. He was raised on the family farm, graduated from Millersburg High School and went on to serve his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Glen married and became the father of seven children who survive him; Barry (Sheree) Sharp, Gwendolyn (Roy) Griffin, Kimberly (Ralph) Benjamin, Christine (Scott) Duncan, Grant Sharp, Terry Sharp and Aaron (Angie) Sharp. While raising his family, Glen was active in Bethel Brethren Church and started Sharp Steel Service. Glen had a passion for evangelism and was also known for his generosity and compassion for others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Glen's family grew to include four more children by marriage, who also survive along with 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and his sister, Ruth Lehman. In addition to his parents, Glen was also preceded in death by Arlene Sharp, his wife of 21 years and by Patricia Sharp, his wife of 30 years; his brothers, E. Lamar Sharp and C. Leroy Sharp; granddaughter, Shelby Sharp, great-grandson, Gabriel Sharp and great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Griffin. Funeral Services 11:00 Friday December 7, 2018 in Grace Brethren Church, 58343 S. Apple Road, with Pastor Jim Brown officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9-11am Friday. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements through Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. The family's preferred memorial is Asia's Hope Orphanage, c/o Grace Community Church, 20076 CR 36, Goshen IN 46526.
