Glenn Allen Arbaugh, 71, of Elkhart, died on October 7, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Cannelton, West Virginia on December 24, 1946 to Basil and Opal (Williams) Arbaugh. Glenn graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1965 and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On September 4, 1965, Glenn married Freda Ann Rice and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2017. He enjoyed fishing, coaching and playing softball, and pitching horseshoes. He treasured his wife, children, and grandchildren with an unfailing love. Glenn is survived by his children, Bart (Melisa) Arbaugh of Goshen, and Tammy (Tip) Thompson of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Westley (Sean) Raver, Kaylan Dercach, Madison Arbaugh, and Justin Arbaugh; a great granddaughter, Annie Raver; his siblings, Ronald (Louann) Arbaugh, and Cathy (Tim) Arbaugh-Browning. Glenn was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Freda; his parents; and a sister, Janet Arbaugh. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 4-8 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service with military honors will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 10 AM with calling one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
