Obituary

Glenn A. Remaly, Jr., 78, formerly of South Bend, died Thursday August 6, 2015 at his home in Bowling Green, KY. The Lafayette native was born March 5, 1937 to Glenn A. & Pauline (Cortson) Remaly. Glenn relocated to Bowling Green to the corporate offices of Medusa Aggregates, with whom he retired as their Sales Manager. He was a veteran of the US Navy and lifelong member of the VFW, American legion and AMVETS. Glenn was also a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois M. (Graff) Remaly and his sister, Wathena Shively. Glenn is survived by his children, Greg (Christine) Remaly of Racine WI, Karen (Donald) Runnells of Houston TX and Gary Remaly in Queensland, Australia; his sister, Barbara P. Suter of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Joseph Runnells of Mishawaka, Josh (Jennie) Runnells of Cypress TX, Kimberly (Elroy) Phillips of Oswego IL, Lindsey (Seth) Buchanan of Oak Creek WI, Katie Remaly of Madison WI, Sarah (David) Martin of Grand Forks ND, Myra (Dustin) Cook of Pensacola FL , Liam Remaly in Queensland, AU, Tony (Shea) Sulich of Mishawaka; 13 great-grandchildren and a very special family friend & caregiver to both Glenn & Lois, Becky Crick of Bowling Green. Memorial Services 11:00 Wednesday August 12, 2015 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
