Obituary

Glenn B. Ridenour, Jr., of Mishawaka, passed away at 2:20 am, Monday, November 29, 2010 in his home surrounded by family. Glenn was born on January 4, 1928 in Kokomo, the son of Glenn B. and Lucille (Trenanry) Ridenour.
His is survived by five children, Glenn B. "Sonny" and Mary Ridenour, Christine A. Ridenour, Terry L. Ridenour, Eric P. Ridenour, and Vernon L. Ridenour, all of Mishawaka; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Stout of Mishawaka. Shirley DeBoe of South Bend and Helen Soos of New Carlisle. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, John Ridenour, and two sisters, Martha and Esther.
Glenn proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, becoming honorably discharged in 1947. He was an electrician by trade and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 360. He will be remembered for his love of dancing and listening to music. He also loved to watch Western Movies and anything with John Wayne was his favorite. Glenn was a family man and enjoyed spending time with them.
A private family service has been held with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola handled arrangements.
