Gloria Jean Dover, 71, of South Bend, died at 8:30 am, Saturday, August 31, 2013 in her home. Gloria was born on March 29, 1942, the daughter of the late James F. and Erma C. (Ferguson) Dover. She is survived by two daughters, Julie Melville of South Bend and Terri (Rev. E. James) Parrish of Edwardsburg; five grandchildren, Sunshine DeLuna, Tony McWilliams, Chasitiy Storey, Tabatha McClure and Jonathan Parrish and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Dorothy Jachimiak of Dunnellon, FL, three brothers, Paul (Doris) Dover, Sr. of Mishawaka, Alva Dover of Mishawaka, and Jerry (Joyce) Dover of Dunnellon, FL, and her best friend, Olga Alvarado of Naples, FL. She is preceded death by her parents, daughter, Ronna Barnes, grandson, Steven Parrish and siblings, James Dover, Sr., Theresa Dover, Joseph Dover, Sr., and Gary Dover.Gloria will be remembered for her great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. Her family was her life and she was a very giving and generous women. She was an amazing caretaker and in her spare time she enjoyed gambling and garage sales. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 pm, Thursday, September 5, 2013 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola
