Gloria Ann (Sturts) McNeil, 85, of Elkhart, IN passed away on July 12, 2021 in Elkhart.  She was born to the late Will C. and Alice M. (Mumau) Sturts on December 10, 1935 in Shelby, OH.  She married David E. McNeil on July 2, 1960 in Shelby, OH, he preceded her in death.  She graduated from Shelby High School in 1953, then attended Elkhart University and graduated as a medical secretary in 1955.  She worked in the record room at Elkhart General Hospital.

She is survived by her brother, Delmar (Donna) Sturts of Mansfield, OH; extended family, Betty Anderson and Kathy Aumack of Elkhart, IN, Laura (Brent) Quillen of Oklahoma, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Ralph and Wayne Sturts, her sister Carol Jean Norris.

Services for Gloria will be held privately.  Chapel Hill Funeral Home is honored to care for the McNeil Family.
