Grace M. Watkins, 96, of South Bend, passed away at 12:40 pm, Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Healthwin Specialized Care Center, South Bend. Grace was born on January 9, 1914 in Lafayette, Colorado to the late Charles and Maude (McCarty) Miller. On June 18, 1943, in South Bend, she married Robert Watkins. He passed away June 20, 2005. They were member of the Studebaker''s Driver Club and she proudly served her country in the Army. She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Pentecostal Church of South Bend.
She is survived by three children, Robert (Reba) Watkins of Hogansville, GA, Charles (Marina) Watkins of Niles, MI and Jerry (Mary) Watkins of South Bend, IN; as well as 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Faye Mosler of Longmont, CO.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, April 15, 2010 in the funeral home with entombment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Rev. Wayne Graham will officiate.
