GREG ALAN LONGBRAKE

March 6, 1967 – December 26, 2022

ELKHART, IN –-Greg Alan Longbrake, 55, of Elkhart, died in the

afternoon on Monday, December 26, 2022 in Cadillac, Michigan.

Greg Longbrake was born March 6, 1967, in Elkhart to Larry and

Roberta (Aurand) Longbrake. He married his high school

sweetheart, Michele R. Miller, on September 19, 1987, in Elkhart.

They enjoyed 35 years of marriage.

Survivors in addition to his wife, Michele, are son, Gavin

(Cearra) Longbrake and daughter, Marisa Longbrake; two

sisters, Laura (Ron) Grosz, Rebecca (Gary) Stanley, and one

brother, Brent (Caroline) Longbrake and mother in-law, Gayle

(Stanley) Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Roberta

Longbrake, and father in-law, Larry E. Miller.

Greg Longbrake was a 1985 graduate of Concord High School

and attended Ivy Tech. He was the President/owner of

Advanced Heating Inc. in Elkhart, Indiana since 2001. He served

8 years as a Cub and Boy Scout leader for Oxbow Elementary

School. He lived life to the fullest with his activities of lounging at the

pool, being at the cabin, kayaking, biking, wave runners,

4-wheeling, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, fishing in

Canada and locally. He also enjoyed traveling vacations and his

winnings in Black Jack.

Celebration of Life visitation will be on January 12, 2023 from

11:30 am to 2:00 pm with the funeral service starting at 2:00

pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy Osceola,

IN 46561. A private burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial

Gardens Cemetery, Osceola.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer

Society of Elkhart County and Plant a Tree Living Tribute.
