Gregory Michael Rinehart, 65, of Osceola, passed away in his home on January 1, 2014. Greg was born on June 16, 1948, the son of the late Glenn and Marilyn (Russell) Rinehart. On September 4, 1976, he married Rose Marie Vuckis.He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Marie of Osceola; two children, Stephanie (Tony) Payne of Mishawaka and Lynn Krostyne of South Bend; and four grandchildren, Rachael Payne, Alyssa Payne, Joshua Carson and Kara Carson. He is also survived by two sisters, Judy (Dewayne) Wilda of South Bend and Gloria (Joe) Waechter of Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Michael Waechter.Greg proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from 1969-1971. He worked for AM General for 30 years before his retirement in 2004 and was a member of the UAW Local 5.Cremation has taken place and Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
