Greta P. McCrum, 78, of Mishawaka, passed away at 3:47 pm, Monday, January 27, 2014 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Greta was born on November 17, 1935, the daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Iona L. (Cox) Nichols. On August 19, 1954, she married Robert L. McCrum. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert of Mishawaka, one son, Rickey (Denita) McCrum of Mishawaka; two sisters, LaVonne Beer of Arkansas and Wanda Wilson of Anderson; and two brothers, Wayne (Janet) Nichols of Bloomington, IN and Ronald (Carol) Nichols of Anderson, IN. Greta and Robert lived in Anderson for 30 years before moving back into Mishawaka in 1998. She was a loving wife and mother and liked to fish and crotchet. Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm, Sunday, February 2, 2014 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 3, 2014 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
