Obituary

Harold William Bishop, 70, of Osceola, passed away at 2:10 pm, Friday, May 9, 2014 in Elkhart County Hospice House, surrounded by family. Harold was born on June 12, 1943, the son of the late Rosco and Tressa (McQuillen) Bishop. On January 28, 1965, he married Laura Gail Marvel. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Laura Gail; their three children, Lisa Bishop of Osceola, Bill Bishop of Osceola, and Joseph (fianc Allison Jones) Bishop of Granger. He is also survived by brother, Ray Bishop of Niles and two sisters, Sue (Larry) McCartney of Mishawaka and Ethel Rodgers of Florida. Harold was the owner and operator of County Line Towing. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved to sing karaoke and listen to country music. He was also into restoring muscle cars. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Monday, May 12, 2014 in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Chaplain Steve Coyle will officiate.
