Harold Ray Owen, 79, of Mishawaka, passed away at 8:55 am, Friday, May 15, 2009 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Harold was born on April 10, 1930 in Mishawaka to the late Lester and Doris (Gretsinger) Owen.
He is survived by his nephews, Michael (Cathy) Owen of Granger, Bill R. (Mary) Owen of Osceola, niece, Bonnie Meister of Elkhart, great niece, Rochelle (Matthew Warren) Owen of Indianapolis and great nephew, Matthew Owen of Osceola. He is preceded in death by his father, Lester, mother, Doris Henke, and brother, Bill F. Owen.
He was a 1948 graduate of Mishawaka High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in Korea.
A Private Family Service will be held. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handing arrangements.
