Harry Beechler passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Harry is survived by wife Dolores Fay; his son James (Corina) Beechler; and a daughter Sandy Holdern.
Preceding him in death are his parents Walter & Mary (Woodruff) Beechler; his wife Isabel; a son Harry Beechler Jr.; daughters Theresa Lynn Wolfe, Donna Jean Marks and Freda Fay Reser; and a brother Emerson Beechler.
Harry was an amazing man who was married to Isabel for more than 50 years. He started the Bluegrass Festival in Osceola and taught folks how to play the harmonica and taught himself to play several instruments including the banjo, fiddle, mandolin and guitar. He was a member of the Clyde Carr and The Hymn-Tymers Bluegrass Gospel Music Singers. In the 1960's he could be seen on television and heard on WHME radio programs. Most of all Harry loved his dear and precious family.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 12:00 pm (noon) -1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, located at 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, Indiana. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
