Harvey William Lutz Jr. left us on Sept 8, 2023, at 79. He was the oldest child of Harvey and Marion Lutz and is survived by his siblings, Nancy (Ken) Harless, James Lutz, Robert Lutz, and Marjorie (Jeff) Bejcek. Harvey is also survived by his children Janet Lutz, Hope Olivia, and Candy (George) Riem. His son Harvey Lutz III passed before him. He was the proud grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Harvey was a truck driver all his life, starting at an early age. He began driving trucks for his parents who started and owned the Pop Shop in Arlington Heights, Illinois. His love for driving kept him in that career for his entire life. He went on to drive for Air Products and Burger Dairy and ended his career at Goodwill Industries. Everywhere Harvey worked, he was known as a caring and gentle soul. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 364.

A Funeral Service in his honor will be on Saturday Sept. 16, 2023 at 11 AM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN 46561.  Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the service.  Private family burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
