H. Ray Eaglebarger, Sr., age 68, of Granger passed away on June 16, 2017 at 10:00AM at home. He was born November 16, 1948 to Donald and Ruthine (Miller) Eaglebarger in South Bend, Indiana. Ray was a Jimtown High School graduate and on April 10, 1967, Ray married Vicki Vaught. She preceded him in death on July 7, 2013. Mr. Eaglebarger worked as a machinist at Speedcrib for many years. Ray was a volunteer fireman and enjoyed all sports, woodworking, and classic automobiles. Ray is survived by his children, Brian Eaglebarger of Mishawaka, Dawn (Brian) Loop of North Liberty, and John Eaglebarger of Granger, Indiana; 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, David, and Nicole; one great grandchild, Alexei Loop; his sister, Barbara (Gib) Ball of Granger. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, IN 46561. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 10 AM at the funeral home with calling one hour prior to the service.
