Hozie L. "Bud" Haff, 76, of South Bend, passed away on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at home.  He was born on July 17, 1946 in Brooklyn Arkansas to Ovid C. and Alice (Taylor) Haff.  He married Laura Sykes on Sept. 27, 2003 in South Bend.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; his children: Vickie (Harley) Harrison, Scott & Christine Trost and Dona Trost; Grandchildren: Amber, Devin, Austin, Matthew, Angel and Carly. Also surviving are his dear friends, Mark McGinnis and Harry Smith.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Bill and Troy Haff; and 2 sisters: Mary Yearian and Gertie Green.

Hozie previously worked at Jack Post making furniture and at Lakeland Hospital in Surgical Maintenance.

He was a member of PNA and he loved his cats, Spunky and Buddy.

He had a warm, loving soul and he could make friends with anyone.  He enjoyed dancing, playing pool, classic cars- especially his Road Runner- and was always ready to share a cold one with you.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Monday Aug. 29, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, IN.  A funeral service in his honor will be on Tuesday Aug. 30, 2022 at 10 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
