Hubert Lee Lowry, Jr., 65, of Elkhart, entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2022. He was born on June 23, 1957 in Elkhart, IN. Hubert enjoyed photography, drawing, spending time with his grandchildren, and collecting guns. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Hubert retired from the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department after 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ward; and brother, David Lowry.

Hubert is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila Y. Lowry; father, Hubert Lee Lowry, Sr.; step mother, Venetta Lowry; children, Sean (Anne) Lowry and Lauren Boswell; step children, Sandra Castillo, Lisa (Carlos) Parodi, and Amanda Dull; brothers, Mark Lowry and Curtis (Sharon) Lowry; and grandchildren, Kade Lowry, Jax Lowry, Mia Lowry, Katelyn Bloss, Tyler Castillo, Dominic Castillo, Dylan Parodi, and Andrew Parodi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with the Funeral Service to begin at 12:00 PM at Bethel Assembly of God, 600 E. Bristol St., Elkhart, IN 46514. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
