Hughey D. Stevens, 81, of Osceola, died Wednesday February 28, 2018 at the Center for Hospice in Elkhart. The Jonesboro AR native was born January 14, 1937 to Emmitt S. & Susie Jane (Rorie) Stevens. He was a US Army veteran; had retired from Elkhart Products and was a member of First General Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Maurine Stevens and their children, David (Anna) Stevens of Osceola, Dennis (Renee) Stevens of Highlands Ranch CO, Brian Stevens of Elkhart and Elizabeth (Ryan) Anderson of Havelock NC; grandchildren, Karena (Andrew) Faust of London England, Sean Stevens of Boston MA, Daniel Stevens of Mishawaka, Sara Stevens of Denver CO, Jessica Stevens of Ely MI, Michael Stevens of Osceola and  Rebecca, Erik, Jazzmun, Izabella and Harrison Anderson, all of Havelock NC; his sisters, Merle (Andy) Taylor of Indianapolis & Marilyn Sue (Bill) Hamilton of Fallon NV and his brother, Emmitt S. (Pansy) Stevens, Jr. of Redding CA. Hughey was preceded in death by his parents  and also an infant daughter Charlene and by brothers, Frank & Earl and sisters, Betty & Clifford.
