Ida Mae Beattie, age 95, passed away Jan. 22, 2013 at Courtyard Healthcare in Goshen. Ida Mae was born March 25, 1917 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Sam and Lavonda (Dowll) Kwant. She was married to Russell Beattie who preceded her in death, passing away in 1985.

Ida Mae is survived by her son, Ken (Evon) Beattie of Elkhart, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the 2:00 pm funeral service on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Ida Mae was employed for over 33 years with the CTS Corporation. In her memory, donations may be made to the Little Pine Church of the Brethren of which she was a longtime member.
