Ida J. Housand, 80, of Mishawaka, died Thursday May 2, 2013. The Mishawaka native was born November 23, 1932 to Violet (Olinger) and Robert Fouts, Sr. She was a retired Nurse''s Aide and member of V.F.W. Post #360, Ladies Auxiliary. Ida married Raymond W. Housand (Sr.) on April 8, 1952; he preceded her in death in 2004. In addition to her husband, Ida was also preceded by her parents and brothers, "Sonny" Fouts and Robert "Junior" Fouts, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Bill Taylor) Armstrong and son, Raymond W. "Skip" (Kimberly) Housand, Jr., both of Mishawaka; daughter, Blanch (Tim) Brown of Midland, TX and son, Paul (Wendy) Housand of Rio Rancho, NM; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Private Family Services arranged through Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
