Irene E. Zimmerle, 95, of Mishawaka, passed away at 6:00 am, Sunday, January 10, 2010 in her home. Irene was born on July 5, 1914 in Middlebury, IN to the late George and Mary Jane (Wingard) Hill. On July 16, 1971, she married Raymond Zimmerle; he passed away on February 12, 2002. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Hoover and Jenny Deifenderfer.
Irene is survived by three children, Kenneth (Sandy) Orem of Cottonwood, AZ, Janice Cook of Mishawaka, IN and Ronald (Katy) Orem of South Bend; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was an inspector at CTS for over 40 years before she retired. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Bristol. She will be remembered for her love of her children and grandchildren.
A private family service will take place. Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola is handling arrangements.
