James Elias Miller, 55, of Osceola, died at 1:25 pm, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the Sanctuary of Holy Cross following an illness. Mr. Miller was born to the late Eli and Mary (Verges) Miller on November 3, 1959. He married Sharon Kania on December 30, 2000. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Sharon, a brother, George (Cathy) Miller of Lombard, IL, nephews, Josh and Russell Miller of Louisville, KY, an uncle, Frank Verges of Portland, OR and several cousins. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 22, 2014 in St. Andrew''s Greek Orthodox Church, 52455 N. Ironwood Rd., South Bend. Rev. George Konstantopoulos will officiate. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. A special thank you is extended to Dr. Bilal Ansari, Dr. Binh Tran, Dr. Richard Zentz, the staff from PCU, 6 Garden, 6 Lakeside, and the Rehabilitation Institute at St. Joseph''s Regional Medical Center, and the staff from the Sanctuary at Holy Cross for the compassionate care Jim received throughout the course of his illness.
