MISHAWAKA - James K. Young 70 of Mishawaka passed away Tuesday morning at his residence. James was born to John and Rachael(Adams)Young in Sunbright TN. He had been a diesel mechanic for Preston Truck Lines of South Bend. James was a member of the V.F.W. and loved to hunt and fish. James had served two tours of service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. James also attended church where ever he lived he was an avid Christian. He is survived by his loving wife Susan of forty two years in Mishawaka, son Gregory(Darla)Young of Evansville, son Robert (Traci Chappelle)Young of Medina, Ohio and daughters April(David)Davis of Mishawaka and Leslie(Cam)Enger of South Bend and daughters Chloee and Teresa Stanley of Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren Zachary, Michael, Jacob, Taylor, Jeffery, Katelyn, and Taylor and sister-in-law Winnie(Don)Shamblin. The family wants to extend a Special Thanks to John and Candi Smith, Jerry and Nellie Turpin, Megan Miller, Vicki Cook and Robin Kring. James was preceded in death by his parents'' two brothers John Henry and Manus and one sister Purnay Mae Young. Visitation will be Sunday May 3, 2015 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home 10776 McKinley Highway Osceola, IN 46561 with a funeral service with full military honors immediately following at 3:00pm with Pastor Bob Vale officiating.
