Janet Sue Fitzsimmons passed away on Tuesday October 5 ^th , 2021, at Brentwood of Niles Senior Living in Niles, MI, at the age of 82.  She was born December 21 ^st , 1938, in Elkhart, IN, to Ellsworth and Chloe (Barkman) Housour.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ron Mooth and Robert Fitzsimmons, and son, Jeffery Whitmyer.  Left to cherish her memory are brother, David Housour of Mesick, MI; sons, Robert Whitmyer and wife Kathy of Rice Lake, MN, Michael Whitmyer and wife Lori of Arvada, CO, and wife of Jeffery, Janice Whitmyer of Reno, NV; nine grandchildren with spouses and fiancé; and fifteen great-grandchildren.  Janet retired from Tyler Refrigeration in 2008 after working there for 42 years.  She had a love for Lake Michigan, her favorite place being Ludington where she spent many 4 ^th of July celebrations, and a love of cooking, especially making wonderful Christmas cookies to share with everyone.

Services will be held on Saturday October 23 ^rd , 2021, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola, IN, at 11:30 A.M. with viewing during the preceding hour.
